Buon 12° posto nella prova di World Cup a Cozumel in Messico di Andrea Secchiero (Fiamme Oro). L'azzurro ha concluso al gara a 4 sec dalla Top 10 e a 24 secondi dal vincitore, il sudafricano Richard Murray. Massimo De Ponti (C.S Carabinieri) e il giovane Gianluca Pozzatti (CUS Trento) hanno chiuso rispettivamente 27° e 28°. Per Mattias Steindwandter (C.S. Carabinieri) un 47° posto.
La vittoria della gara è andata al forte corridore Richard Murray (Sudafrica), dietro di lui il canadese Kyle Jonas e l'ungerese Gabor Faldum. Si ricorda che proprio a Cozumel il prossimo anno si terrà la Grand Final della World Triathlon Series 2016.
