ETU Cup: aperte le candidature per la stagione 2019

La European Triathlon Union ha aperto il processo di candidatura per le ETU Cup della stagione 2019. Di seguito i dettagli.

 

The European Triathlon Union (ETU) has opened bidding for the 2019 ETU Triathlon European Cups and ETU Triathlon Junior European Cups. Each event is bringing together the most talented elite and junior athletes together from not only Europe but often also from other continents.

The event is an ideal way for a city/town to promote a healthy lifestyle to its citizens, while also enjoying widespread international attention.The European Cup season  for elite is comprised of standard and sprint distance events. Athletes can gain points for the European Cup Ranking with an overall prize money purse of 40,000€ for the top 10 ranked elite athletes and 15,000€ for the top 10 U23 athletes (new since 2018 race season).

The junior event will only host sprint distance races and points can be won individually (ETU Junior European Cup ranking) and as National Federation (team consist of 2 male and 2 female athletes). The top 3 National Federations can gain a total of 10,000€ prize money. Another 10,000€ prize money will be divided over the top 5 Category 2 and 3 National Federations (new since 2018 season.

ETU will accepts bids for the ETU European Cup and ETU Triathlon Junior European cup as per today. Cities interested in hosting a race in 2019 must submit their bid to ETU by September 1, 2018, with successful cities will be notified on 30 September, 2018. The final calendar will be presented the latest by 26 October, 2018.
